California rockers Tesla released a brand new song – “Save the Goodness”, written and produced by Def Leppard’s Phil Collen.
Tesla‘s bassist – Brian Wheat heard the song and told Phil, “We should record this song and you should produce it.”
The song comes as a bonus to their live album – “Mechanical Resonance Live!” which will be released on the 26th of August. The album will contain live recordings of their classic album in celebration for its 30th anniversary.
“Thirty years later and the songs on our first album still rock,” Tesla’s guitarist Frank Hannon said. “Making this new live album of Mechanical Resonance was a reminder of the innocence and creative beginnings of Tesla.”
“Our new video for ‘Save That Goodness’ captures the essence of the song. It’s a feel-good message with a hint of spirituality,” said Hannon about the new MV.
